Hard to find mid century modern Roseville Raymor Modern Stoneware 183 Covered Casserole.
1950s era.
This is a lovely piece.
Mottled brown lid, mottled beige/white base. I don't think this top and bottom have always been together, but it came to me this way. They don't fit as snugly as I'd like
Design by Ben Seibel. Approximately 10.5 X 8.5 inches.
CONDITION: No crazing. Three small inner rim edge chips on lid - one looks to be from manufacture, 2 from bumps. A lighter than normal color spot on handle - from manufacture. Inside clean and nice. No scratches found. Lid doesn't fit as nicely as I'd like - the little fitted pieces on the lid are a little uneven. Shelf wear to unglazed areas.
